Corporate Governance
"Corporate governance" stands for the responsible management and control of a company, oriented toward long-term, sustainable value creation. It promotes the trust of national and international investors, financial markets, business partners, employees and the public in the organization, management and monitoring of the company.
FUCHS PETROLUB AG is a stock corporation under German law. At FUCHS we attach great importance to corporate governance. Effective corporate governance forms part of our identity and represents an essential prerequisite for achieving business objectives and increasing corporate values. This includes the cooperation between the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, for the benefit of the company and in an atmosphere of commonly shared trust and responsibility, as well as respect for shareholders' interests, transparent accounting and prompt reporting.
The Executive Board and Supervisory Board of FUCHS PETROLUB AG and its subsidiaries welcome the German Corporate Governance Code. We follow the recommendations of the German Corporate Governance Code, last amended in August 2008, with few exceptions. FUCHS PETROLUB also fulfills the majority of non-obligatory suggestions of the German Corporate Governance Code.
